Today I finally managed to attend a board meeting of the National Academy Foundation in New York. It was held in the board room of Sandy Weill’s office on a very high floor of the General Motors building, on the South East corner of Central Park. An extraordinary view from the windows – which nearly made me lose concentration in the meeting…
I was, however, able to present Sandy with his honorary alumnus award from Career Academies UK. As the man who, many years ago, founded Career Academies in the US, we have a great deal to thank him for.
